What does it mean to be strong? Is there such thing as strong enough and not strong enough? Well, the reality is that each persons needs and genetic potential are totally different. What makes a great coach is recognizing these differences and helping you achieve your OWN personal goals.
With all of this being said I do think that there a fundamental tasks each individual who trains seriously should aim to achieve. The attached articles is one of my favorites from industry expert Dan John. Dan recognizes the need for fundamental strength, proper mobility and stability along with strength to weight ratio. While these recommendations are certainly not all encompassing, they are a GREAT place to start for all of us in regards to being well balanced fitness enthusiasts.
